February Earring Challenge

Some friends over at Earrings Everyday Blog have offered up a challenge for this year. They provide an art print to inspire us, we create a pair of earrings. I do love a challenge. It gets me out of ruts.

Here is the picture for February.

This picture made me laugh.  It just made me feel happy and it looked like fun.   I wanted to do earrings with angles and this stick-like design would have been my choice.   Unfortunately the only color bugle beads I had were the neon blue and didn’t have all the colors.

So, I went for color because I love all these colors.  They are a little longer maybe than most people would want, but I love long  and I have the perfect hat and shirt to match so I have a new pair of earrings for myself AND the colors are fun.

If you love earrings, why not hop over to the Earrings Everyday blog and see what the rest of the ladies are making?

  1. I am crazy about both pairs. The first captures the essence of the damselfly, the second the energy and colors. If I had to pick one, it would be the first one.

    • That first pair is almost my favorite too. I think I may make some more of those.

  11. both pairs are good representations of the photo , I do like the first pair the best even if you think the colours are not the best. I love the bugle beads. and the blue picks up on the colour of their heads.
